Our Story

Plewsy is an award winning creative brand founded in 2015 by Fiona, built from a love of playful illustration and thoughtful gifting.

What started as a small collection of greeting cards has, over the last nearly 11 years, grown organically into an internationally recognised brand and an independent bricks and mortar shop. Along the way, Plewsy has been shaped not just by creativity, but by real life too; balancing business, family, and the everyday moments that inspire our designs.

We continue to manufacture Plewsy own brand products in the UK.

At the heart of Plewsy is a simple idea that gifts should make people smile. Whether it’s a card, a print, or something a little unexpected, each piece is designed to capture those small, comforting moments in life, like sitting down with a warm cuppa.

Today, Plewsy is both a creative studio and an independent shop based in Bedale, North Yorkshire.

Inside our store, you’ll find our own Plewsy products alongside a carefully curated selection of beautiful goods from UK based designers and makers we genuinely love. Supporting independent creativity is a huge part of who we are, and we’re proud to stock their work on our shelves.
